HSP and the Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA)

From November 18 to 20, 2022, Health Security Partners (HSP) and the Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA) hosted a virtual symposium on the convergence of cyber and biological sciences to discuss current and future risks shared by the two fields. Professionals working in BSL-3 and BSL-4 laboratories had the opportunity to hear from international and national experts working in the field of biosafety and biosecurity, cybersecurity, and biotechnology. The symposium covered a variety of topics, including raising awareness of cyber threats to biological laboratories within India as well as providing security recommendations for institutions to better secure their biological and research data from cyber attacks. HSP is grateful for this opportunity with FABA and looks forward to collaborating in the future!
